Grandview Veterinary Clinic is aware of the vast amount of information available on the internet. Our team has taken the time and evaluated the following sites. We trust the information the listed websites provide to you, our client, and member of our family.
When looking for a veterinary clinic, you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service. At Grandview Veterinary Clinic, we have assembled an expert team of veterinary professionals to bring you the best possible healthcare for your pet. We have a state of the art veterinary facility which is clean, comfortable, and efficient. We pride ourselves in providing excellent care and service to our clients and patients.
Once a year, you should take your pet in for an annual wellness examination. This will include a full physical exam, any vaccinations that are due, internal parasite testing, and heartworm and tick disease testing. One of our doctors will check the health of your pet from head to tail, and discuss any concerns or recommendations with you.
Please bring in any medical history you have on your pet when you come to our vet clinic. We are also happy to call any previous hospitals and request medical records from them. It's best to keep a journal of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts. If you have something like this, share it with our team. If not, let us know everything that you think will be important. Our talented veterinary staff can still work with whatever information you have.
In some circumstances, your veterinarian will refer you to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine or surgery.
Animal Hospital Policies
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill.
We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) checks and cash. All cards that are used must be signed by the owner of the card.
When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. Grandview Veterinary Clinic understands this and is able to make special arrangements through the CareCredit program.
Patient Arrival Policy
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open, aside from the 12pm-2pm lunch hour. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
For your convenience, ‘drop-off’ appointments are available for established patients. We ask that you drop off in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, we will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.
For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. We require that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.
