Georgia Myers , DVM

Dr. Georgia Myers is a native Odessan, she is the owner and operator of Grandview Veterinary Clinic. She is a 1976 graduate of Texas A&M University and takes a special interest in ultrasound. Dr. Myers is trusted by her colleagues and she receives referrals from many local veterinarians.

She has been married to Trey Myers for 37 years,
and they have one daughter Sarah. She and her husband Scott live in Midland along with their beautiful daughters Emma and GracieAnne.

Veterinarian

Jennifer Johnson , DVM

Dr Johnson received her DVM from Texas A&M University in 2000. She is a highly trained and experienced doctor who takes a special interest in Dentistry. She comes to us from Greenbelt in Midland. She will be with us Tuesday thru Friday to help better accommodate you and your pets. She has three children two girls ages 9 and 18 months and one boy who is 7 yrs old. She also has a special fur baby.

Kellie J Dodson , DVM

Dr. Kellie Dodson is a native West Texan who grew up in Snyder, Texas. She received her bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from Tarleton State University and received her DVM from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Dodson has special interests in dentistry, neurology, and soft tissue surgery. She has 2 longhaired dachshunds named Kadee and Tucker and (1) cat named Steve.

Pat Brown , CVA 1

Office Manager

Hi, My name is Pat, I was the first client to become an employee here at the clinic. I guess it has worked out we have since hired a couple of clients. I started to work here in 2004, but originally became a client in 2000 when I received my first Yorkie! I have that little extra knowledge of what it is like to be on both sides of the counter. I hope this gives me the extra insight to understand and meet the needs of the clients and patients with compassion and understanding. Although my job started as receptionist, In August 2009 I was promoted to Office Manager (at least they say it is a promotion ;-)) You will find Gracee and I taking care of all types of duties in the front and back of the clinic, if you have questions, concerns, or suggestions please feel free to let me know. I am Gracee's mom, but please don't blame me for all of her misbehaving, I do have a wonderful male yorkie named Ozzee and have recently added to the family with a little female that is giving Gracee a run for her money her name is Dymee Lee!!! This has been a time of change and although it has been wonderful and I have grown and learned so much I do miss the clients - I love talking with them! When you get a chance and you are in please give me a shout and let me come up front for a little while just to catch up with you! We Love seeing all of you at Grandview and Gracee loves the belly rubs even if she is a little nasty to your babies!!!!!!

The trash talking Assistant Manager most of our regulars have met!

For those new clients who have not met Gracee -
She absolutely loves our clients she will be so excited
to see you she will greet you with pen in mouth- but don't be surprised if she does not act quiet as
excited about seeing your pet. Dont worry she means no harm!

We just have not quiet conviced her

that she only weighs 2 lbs and she is suppose to
be nice to the four legged fur babies that come
to see us! She thinks she has to have the first word or the first bark! She will jump up and down
like a wild fur child, excited to see you then want you to love her. She may then bark and growl at your pet or your leash!

Please stop in to say Hello and possibly
give her a belly rub!

She will bring a smile to your face!
If you don't see her up front just ask, she is probably just taking a little break and in the back under the desk napping!!!!! Gracee turned 4 in January and we are sorry and excited to say she has not mellowed at all, she is still as exciteable as ever. It takes a little bit longer for Gracee to understand some things, one of which is NO trash talking!

Ana Jimenez , CVA 2

Surgical Assistant/Kennel Supervisor

Ana has had many years of experience in a veterinary clinic before she came to us in October of 2006. She was originally hired as a receptionist. On a day that we were short-staffed, she was called on to fill in as an animal caretaker. She took this as an opportunity to show us her talents, and when we saw what she was capable of - she was immediately offered that position. She has since worked her way up to surgical assistant. She is now wearing many hats, she is Kennel Supervisor as well as Surgical Assistant, and Veterinary Assistant, Ana has also just completed her CVA 2 . She has a beautiful baby boy Ethan Jose. She also has a four legged fur baby Foxy - She is a wonderful asset to our clinic we count ourselves very lucky to have her.

Ashley McPherson , CVA 1

Surgical Assistan/Veterinary Technician

Ashley is one of our surgical assistants. She began working here in June of 2006 - You may see her assisting the doctors in exam rooms or helping the receptionist in the front - but the majority of her time is spent behind the scenes. She is usually helping out in surgery and performing dental procedures. She also takes on the role of hair stylist as she does a large majority of the cat shaves.
She is married to Brandon and has a four legged fur baby named Broozer. Ashley is a wonderful team player we are very lucky to have her!

Darla Frazier

Darla originally started with Dr Myers in 2000. She left us for a short while but decided she needed to come home. We are extremely pleased to have her back. You will find Darla in almost every area of our clinic. She is one of the girls that will be giving love to your fur babies while they are here for treatment or boarding. She will also be assisting the doctors with your babies exams. You may even find that she is the one giving Fluffy his or her summer haircut. Cat Shaves are among her many other talents! Darla has two boys Nathan and Nicholas and of course there is a fur baby named Sable.

Whitney Holt

Whitney has joined us here while she is waiting to complete her studies for her title of RVT. She has brought laughs and knowledge to our clinic. Whitney will be assisting the doctors and helping in surgery. We look forward to her completing her classes and continuing her career here at Grandview.

Melina Sanchez

Melina comes to us from ElPaso and worked in the veterinary field for approximately 7 years. She has brought a wealth of knowledge with her and has been a great addition. She has taken over the inventory here as well as continuing to assist the doctors during exams. We expect great things from Melina and are very happy to chose to join us here at Grandview. Melina is married with a daughter and of course has a fur baby named Talon.

Crystal Martinez

Head Client Coordinator

Crystal may be one of the first people who greets you as you walk in our doors. She will welcome you with a wonderful

smile and a great personality. She will be more than happy to help you in any way she can. If she does not have the answer she will not have any problems is finding the right person to help you. She will also be helping with the duties of calling to check on your babies and remind you or your scheduled appointments. Crystal has taken over the food orders for our clinic, if you have a special request in your Hill's Dog Foods please feel free to give her a call and she will be able to help you. She puts the order in on Monday evening and the food is delivered on Tuesday evening or latest Wednesday
She has just recently taken on the responsibility of Lead Client Coordinator!
Crystal has one fur baby of her own, Chachi.

Alyssa Bennett

Alyssa has joined us for a second time after moving back to Odessa. Alyssa may be our youngest staff member but she is wise beyond her years. You will for the most part find Alyssa behind the front desk greeting our clients. She will also be assisting us with computer work and with her knowledge as a technician you may even see her in the rooms assisting the doctors! Alyssa has two fur babies, a dog named Lala and a cat name Cami.

Cindy Lovell , RVT

Registered Vet Tech

Cindy has been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 1994. She makes sure all of the doctor’s instructions are followed and keeps surgical and hospitalized patients well cared for. Cindy formerly taught dog obedience classes and is now earning additional degrees in dentistry and ultrasound. When she isn’t treating patients, she works closely with Dr. Myers,Dr johnson and Pat on keeping the clinic running smoothly. You will see her smiling face when you are checking your fur baby in for surgery and more than likely she will be the one releasing them and giving you the at home care instructions.
Cindy is married and has two beautiful daughters along with several fur babies!

Melissa Heronema , RVT

Lead Room Technician and RVT

Melissa came to us from Jacksonville, Florida. Originally certified in the state of Colorado at the Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology. She has been a CVT for over 7 years. Melissa took the Texas State exam in June and passed with flying colors. She would like me to tell you she is the coolest RVT on staff but we will leave that to personal interpretation. Melissa has 4 fur babies, a one-eyed Dachshund named Diesel, a Weimaraner named Chopper, a Lab/Great Dane cross named Jasper (he completed Tech school with her) and finally a heinz 57 named Lucky. Melissa is married and has (1) son Aidan.

Stephanie Perry

Stephanie has joined the staff here at Grandview for a second time. She left for a few months to spend time with her husband in California. He has since finished his time in the US Marines and she is now back working with us again. We are very pleased and excited to have her back. You will find Stephanie in the kennels and assisting the doctors and surgical staff. She is looking forward to a long and rewarding career in the Veterinary Field. Stephanie is married and has two fur babies at home named Jessi and Shelby.
